National Sales Manager


The NSM is bright, skilled, and a highly organized individual with a background in consultative selling and experience in selling enterprise solutions in the real estate or business information space with a successful sales track record.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years sales experience with personal annual sales greater than $1.5 million dollars in net new revenue
  • Proven closer of complex high revenue deals that require longer sales cycles.
  • High comfort level of owning quarterly and annual revenue targets with proven track record of meeting and exceeding these goals and objectives
  • Strong relationship building skills – be prepared to prove it!
  • Strong professional presence and the ability to be in front of C-level decision makers on a regular basis
  • Mentality that failure is not an option especially when part of a small company environment
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com CRM tool as well good record keeping skills; Must be organized and use CRM database to track daily activity
  • A roll up your sleeves and do what it takes attitude – really!
  • Prospecting and territory building/management experience
  • Strong understanding of web technology, data feeds and web applications a must

Job Description

The NSM is responsible for the day-to-day selling of Onboard products and services. They work closely with the Marketing, Relationship Management and our Executive team to deliver the “Onboard Experience” to every prospect encountered. They are expected to attend various industry conferences around the country as these events will include new prospect selling as well as maintaining relationships with existing client base. Required to meet and exceed annual sales goal. To be successful selling many of Onboard’s products the NSM must possess a strong consultative selling background, understanding a longer term sales cycles, while managing short and long term revenue targets. The NSM reports direct to the CEO and will be relied on heavily to produce on a consistent basis.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Assume overall responsibility for day to day selling of Onboard’s products and services in assigned area of focus
  • Must be able to build a pipeline and mange it effectively
  • Must meet weekly activity requirements, number of calls, meetings and opportunity creation
  • Expected to develop industry and technical expertise in online real estate and how Onboard’s products are vital to the success of our clients online and offline business
  • Responsible for existing territory revenue retention (baseline) and working with Relationship Management to identify and close new sales opportunities (upsells) within territory
  • Must adhere to sales methodology developed by Onboard
  • Prepares quotes and contracts for potential customers
  • Maintains all quote documentation and sales demonstrations
  • Initiates contract development
  • Delivers sales presentations in an effective manner by: maintaining up to date awareness of company activities and industry trends
  • Travel required up to 25%
